Chloe and I are exploring the first ever Stars and Stripes Concert and Car Show in downtown #Haymarket. This first annual event attracted car fanatics far and wide who wanted to pit their rides against others. And we’ve got to be honest – the competition is pretty stiff! From a Trans Am to a ’55 Ford (that featured Mrs. Haymarket in the Haymarket Parade), there’s a little something for every auto lover.
I also got to interview a personal friend of mine, Frank with Bangin’ Gears Productions! Frank drives a stunning Factory 5 Replica of a ’65 Shelby Cobra – and boy is this ride sweet.
This Stars and Stripes Concert and Car Show is the first of what hopes to be many events prepping Haymarket residents for the upcoming July 4th festivities. The event takes place at 14600 Washington Street and features pre-Fourth celebrations including the car show, games for kids, the concert, food from Shauwn’s Smokin BBQ, Zandra’s, Eugene’s Soft Serve and Fries, and Swirlies Soft Serve.
