A beer that requires a waiver!? Yep.

Welcome to this week’s edition of Going Gainesville, and we’re going to @Tin Cannon Brewing Co. – the first #brewery in Prince William County who led the way in opening up the doors to all breweries you see across #PrinceWilliam today.

Formed in 2014 and opened in November of that year, Tin Cannon has done a lot in the way of pushing Northern Virginia into the 21st century when it comes to beers!

Tin Cannon doesn’t only push the envelope on county red tape, they also apply the same process to their rather interesting beer selection. They were one of the first breweries to offer a black IPA – but they don’t stop there.

Their wild selections now include their cult-followed “Breakfast of Champions” 🍳 which is a bacon chipotle amber and some insanely super hot beers like “Don’t Fear the Reaper” which includes 🌶 Carolina reaper pepper making it well, hot enough you’ll need to sign a waiver to taste it.

They make a home-brewed 🥜 peanut butter porter too – giving Tin Cannon a selection that keeps beers unique for both beer lovers and beer newcomers.

In this episode, we tried:

🍻 Blond Ale – easy drinking, light, and nothing hot.
🍻 Felix IPA – pilzner malt, earthy and citrus accents
🍻 Pumpkin Ale – so popular, they’ve kept it on after the season
🍻 Uncle Dunkle – very malty, German-style, with very low hops

John – thanks for having us out to Tin Cannon – becuase we’re #GoingGainesville and so are you!
